Healthcare Industry Export Growth ‘Remarkable’ Proving its Potential (Medical News, Sep 11 2019)

KHIDI has published ‘Healthcare Industry Performance Report 2018’ and stated the Korean healthcare industry has grown average 21% in last 5 years and made USD 14.6 billion export volume 2018. The export volume figure has been increased by 19.4% than the year before, which also has doubled since 2014 with USD 6.9 billion. Reviewing by each sector, pharmaceuticals have reached export volume of USD 4.7 billion last year with 14.9% increase than 2017. Specifically, the drug product export volume reached USD 4.67 billion, and marked the highest figure in the history with 14.9% increase than 2017.
